Dancing is so good for the soul. Opportunities to get on the dance floor can be few and far between. People remember the parties when they could boogie. Turning 50 was a special moment for me, and I wanted the music to be at the heart of my party and celebration. Paul absolutely nailed it! I held my party in the back garden, and from the moment he arrived (early and totally organised, by the way), I knew I could relax and enjoy myself.I’ve got quite an eclectic taste in music – decades and genres all mixed together – and ahead of the party - I’d made a playlist of some of my favourite tracks. Paul took the time to really study it and then worked his magic, weaving those songs into a set that kept the night flowing perfectly. He started us off with some chilled vibes as everyone mingled, and as the evening went on, the energy built and built until the whole garden was up and dancing.Paul played for over five hours, and at some point everyone – from my uncles and aunties to my lifelong friends and the younger crowd – had been on their feet. It was such a joy dancing with family and friends, celebrating together with the soundtrack I’d dreamed of. I had so many lovely comments from guests afterwards about how brilliant the music was and how much fun they’d had.I didn’t have to worry about anything because the music was in safe hands. Honestly, it was the best party I could have hoped for. If you’re planning a celebration, I can’t recommend Thenandnowbeats enough – Paul will make it unforgettable
